Belgravia in Bloom 2022: Beautifully British

Best displays of Belgravia in Bloom 2022 flower festival in London

By Anna Purpurpurpur

Purpurpurpur continues reporting from the blooming London that looks more like a garden these days awaiting for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. You’ve probably already seen my article about the Chelsea in Bloom 2022: British Icons – and now I’ll show you another area of London participating in the flower festival: it’s Belgravia, and it’s celebrating Beautifully British displays!

Best displays of Belgravia in Bloom 2022

Belgravia festival takes place from the 23rd of May till the 29th of May as well as The Chelsea in Bloom and The RHS Chelsea flower Show. Main places to explore are Motcomb street, Eccleston Yards, and Pimlico Road.

Elizabeth street is already well known for their exquisite installations attracting tourists and bloggers through the year. However, now the shops in that area just look their best!

There are lots of flower installations participating in the Belgravia in Bloom flower festival: there are Little Ben, Teapot pouring flowers instead of tea, Flower Arches, and of course crowns and corgis…

Among my favourites are the Mosimann’s display with a sausage dog, crowns and some very British afternoon tea on display, Bear Beefeater and a vivid pink display of Louse Kennedy (it’s said that that display is inspired by Mary Poppins). And of course Neill Strain Floral Couture always steals the show!

And the winner of Belgravia in bloom 2022 is Paddington Bear residing on the Elizabeth street!

Hope you enjoyed my new blog!
Yours,
Anna
